Chancellor and founder of Midwestern Baptist College, Dr. Malone also founded and pastored Emmanuel Baptist Church in Pontiac Mi. Born in Alabama, Dr. Malone was saved and called to preach at the same time. He attended Bob Jones University. It took Dr. Malone 14 years to finish his schooling, he would go for an semester and then he would have to work to earn enough money to go another semester. He founded Midwestern Baptist College in order to help young preacher boys, at Midwestern they were able to go to school a half a day and work a half a day. Dr Malone will be remembered as one of the great pioneers in fundamentalism along with men like John R Rice, Bob Jones Sr and many others. Be blessed once again by the preaching of Dr. Tom Malone Sr.
